Trip Tip a Day

After the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, we ate a nice lunch, and had a great time ice skating at Wollman Rink in Central Park.   After that, we rented bikes and rode the full path around the Park.  To give you an idea of the size of Central Park, it took us almost our full hour of bicycle rental to make it around the loop once! Tip of the day:  Visit Grand Central Station 87 E 42nd Street http://www.grandcentralterminal.com/ Shops, food, lots of open space, 2 bridal parties strolling through with photographers snapping away for the ultimate NYC wedding album, watching the cupcakes get iced at the Magnolia Bakery, looking at the tracks, what a wonderful adventure for our first night in NYC.

Twizzlers - my favorite   made with real Hershey's chocolate One niece told us about the Times Square M and M Store, and surprise, surprise, coming out  that store we ran into the Hershey's store!     http://www.thehersheycompany.com/about-hershey/visit-hershey/retail-stores/times-square.aspx So, we came home with a package of chocolate Twizzler's - a fun spin on my very favorite candy --the strawberry twizzler.   You can go to Hershey's in Times Square, Dubai, Singapore, Shanghai, Chicago, Niagara Falls, or Hershey PA (where my other niece was married).  Who knew? Tip of the day:  Fly nonstop For our Thanksgiving trip to New York City, we bought  non-stop tickets from Dallas to the Newark, New Jersey airport (EWR).  Worth the extra cost to not have to deal with the hassle of transfers, possible delays, missed flights, etc.  Easy transport from Newark Airport to New York City.  We took the train - 25 minutes, $12.50, airport to Penn Station http://www.njtransit.com/rg/rg_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=AirportConnectionsTo
